The diversity of both terrestrial and aquatic fauna and flora is truly staggering. Even more amazing, we’re not talking normal diving but unique diving that, at best, is very difficult to find elsewhere in the world.

Through experience we have proved you can view these apex predators safely and have done so hundreds of times.

African Watersports was amongst the first professional scuba diving companies to explore and open up the enormous potential of South Africa’s Aliwal Shoal.



In fact, many more recent competitors have built their businesses on our initial dive site discoveries. Today we are still exploring this world heritage reef and continually finding new and exciting sites that others have yet to dive.
