Port Edward’s main swimming beach is just 3 km from our hotel, where -
weather permitting - ski boats launch on a daily basis for the serious fisherman or
whale and dolphin spotting pleasure
trips.
Several top golf courses are within easy driving distance - most notably Margate and the
Wild Coast Sun.
The immediate area of Umtamvuna also offers you interesting places to visit,
like the Beaver Creek Coffee Farm; The Protea Farm; The Space Centre; various
Art & Craft Studios; Port Edward’s famous Lighthouse landmark, where guests can climb
to the top and view dolphins and whales. For avid gamblers the Wild Coast Sun Casino
is but a short spin away, as is the Riverbend Crocodile Farm. There are also numerous
