Each unit is fully equipped with stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery, pots, DSTV decoder (bring your smartcard), hairdryer and a beach umbrella.

About 15 minutes’ drive from Margate, Marina Beach is a quiet upmarket village near Southbroom. Local facilities include a well-stocked superette, bottle store, petrol station, post office, lovely beachfront restaurant and a tearoom at the local nursery.

A mere 800m from a Blue Flag beach (with a safe tidal pool for children), Marina Woods features two 4- to 6-sleeper units set in a tranquil sub-tropical garden.

All linen – except beach towels – is provided. Outside, under a canopy of trees, there is a lovely communal braai area. For your safety, each unit has a security alarm and the fenced grounds provide secure parking.

The upper unit comprises 2 en-suite bedrooms with walk-in cupboards and an open-plan lounge, dining room and fitted kitchen … all leading out onto a covered verandah. One bathroom features a corner bath, the other a shower.

The downstairs unit comprises 2 bedrooms, plus bathroom and a guest toilet. The open-plan lounge, dining room and fitted kitchen lead out onto a covered patio and there is a picnic table and chairs in the garden.

For the adventurous, Marina Woods is also within an easy drive of several
challenging golf courses, some renowned fishing spots, horse riding, a
crocodile farm, coffee plantation and the Wild Coast Casino.

HOW TO FIND US
Take the Marina Beach exit off the N2, after Southbroom South. Turn into George Pontuti Drive and continue -
past the superette on the left and bottle store on your right - until you get to the Nursery. Just after that
turn into Park Road on your left. About 50 meters along Park Road, near a ‘WINDSONG KITES’ sign, turn right
into Lagoon Drive. The first turn to the left is Bushy Road, where Marina Woods – No. 83 – is the house
immediatelyon your right. Have a safe trip!
